Wayne Jardin was born and raised on Martha's Vineyard. He started playing golf at the age of five with his father. He quickly developed a passion for the game. Wayne played on his high school golf team and was awarded Most Valuable Player his senior year. Wayne began his career as a Golf Professional in 1990 at Mink Meadows Golf Club on Martha's Vineyard. After Mink Meadows, he continued developing his skills as an Assistant Golf Professional at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida and Farm Neck Golf Club on Martha's Vineyard. In 1997, Wayne was hired as an Assistant Golf Professional at Bear's Paw Country Club. He was quickly promoted to First Assistant Golf Professional in July 1998. In 2004, he was promoted to Head Golf Professional based on his love for the game and our Members. Wayne and his team conduct mens, ladies, and mixed golf events, provide quality golf instruction and manage a golf shop stocked with many of the popular brands. From the low handicap to the beginner golfer, Wayne is dedicated to improving their golf game. He represents Bear's Paw playing in PGA Chapter and Section events throughout the summer. Wayne continues to develop and enrich his skills by attending PGA Educational events to continue improving the overall golf experience at Bear's Paw.
