Terri Carson graduated with honors from Miller Place High School on Long Island, New York. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Rosemont College and Villanova University in Pennsylvania and joined one of the Big 4 accounting firms, KPMG, directly after graduation. Terri’s career experience includes working as an auditor, financial analyst, assistant controller, controller, and director of finance for various small to large-sized companies. She has extensive experience in accounting, budgeting, payroll, and financial statement preparation, as well as teaching, HR, change management, and internal control and process documentation and improvement. After completing her master's and doctorate degrees, she moved to Florida to assist her parents during the COVID shutdown and never looked back. She lives on Marco Island with her husband and three adult children, one of which still lives at home.
